Last week we received a lovely box of craft supplies from Baker Ross which was great as my son loves to craft after school. He’s been working his way through the box and even taking things in to school to show his class mates.
As I mentioned a few weeks ago he’s interested in learning to sew so immediately wanted to make the Unicorn Sewing Kit which contained two kits. There was everything needed to make a plush unicorn including pre-cut felt pieces, plastic needle, wool, stuffing and felt stickers. Each child picked their favourite colour, I threaded the needle for them and showed them what to do.
The unicorns came together quite quickly.
When they had stitched almost the whole way round they added the stuffing, then sewed them shut.
They added the stickers and I showed them how to knot the hair which was probably the trickiest part for them. This is a fun craft activity which my children really enjoyed.
