I was really happy that my choir started again last week, I missed it over the holidays. This term we’re singing a concert arrangement of My Fair Lady based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion. The book and lyrics are by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe and it’s fun learning something new. It also makes me want to watch the film and Pretty Woman too!
I’ve started the Minimalsim Game with my sister. Our house is in desperate need of decluttering and this is a fun way to do it. I wrote a little more about it on this post. Today is day 4 and you can follow my progress on Instagram.
Both the children started swimming lessons yesterday at a different pool. My 6 year had started lessons but was literally going backwards so we thought somewhere different might help. And it was definitely time his 4 year old sister started learning. They both had a great time in their Grandad’s pool over the holidays so we knew it was time to start them both off again. They lovely their first lesson so hopefully we will see some real progress soon.
I applied for a job which is both scary and exciting.
I’m really enjoying the warmer weather and lighter evenings. I love Spring and the whole family seems to be happier, especially when they can play outside after school and set up their mud kitchen cafe.
