Yesterday we spent the day at Wendover Forest with some friends. We had fun exploring the new Superworm Trail, enjoyed den building and our first picnic of the year (outside of the car!).
I love the new print of Alexandra Palace by Georgina Westley I received for my birthday. We used to live near Ally Pally and I could see it every day.
I’ve been making some Scrabble tile art for my dish washer – Clean/Dirty Scrabble dishwasher magnets – a tutorial will follow soon.
I was sent an ActiviTea portable tea flask to review and it came with us to the woods yesterday. I love my peppermint tea and enjoyed using this. The portable tea infuser has a double glass wall that keeps the water hot and when you are ready for your tea you can flip it upside down to brew the leaves which are stored in the lid. Once done, unscrew the lid and remove the leaves. Perfect for having your tea on the go!
I’ve started a new quilt where I’m making something for my partner. I always find it a little nerve wracking to make a quilt for someone else but I have chosen my pattern, picked my fabrics and started piecing it together. I really hope my partner will like it.

There have been a couple of trails based on books and so far we’ve visited the Gruffalo Activity Trail, The Gruffalo’s Child Activity Trail and the Superworm Activity Trail. […]
