Little Tikes ‘Play Personalities’

Last week Little Sis and I were invited to hear more about Little Tikes ‘Play Personalities’. Little Tikes and play expert, Maggie Redshaw, have devised four play personalities that they feel children may take on during their development:

Little Learners, Little Movers, Little Builders and Explorers and finally Little Grown-ups.

We all know how important it is for our little ones to play but it’s particularly essential for little ones as they grow and develop. Well-designed, safe and appropriate toys help to assist as children change and grow throughout their most formative years.

Little Tikes organised a brilliant Christmas Play Date and Little Sis had a lovely time. When we arrived we found a huge room transformed into a soft play area dedicated to the four personalities, along with lots and lots of Little Tikes toys. Little Sis absolutely loved every second and played with almost everything although I think the Ultimate Cook Kitchen and Anchors Away Pirate Ship water table will be making it to the top of her Christmas list! We also had time to talk to Maggie Redshaw (who I’ve met before and is lovely) about the different personalities and was really interesting to talk to about child development in general.

The day finished off with a visit from Father Christmas and although Little Sis was a little shy to go too near him she was confident enough to receive a lovely Little Tikes Little Kitchen, she’s obviously been better behaved than I thought this year!

More information about the Little Tikes Play Personalities will shortly be available on the Little Tikes website.

Disclosure – please note my travel expenses were reimbursed to attend this lovely event.
