P&G is providing more reasons than ever to celebrate the London 2012 Olympic Games with three exclusive salons for Mums, athletes and media to enjoy complimentary beauty and grooming treatments throughout the duration of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The Salons are located in The Olympic Village, The Paralympic Village, the International Broadcast Centre and Main Press Centre (IBC/MPC) complex and the Wella Studio in central London. Guests will be treated to a range of treatments including professional haircuts, colour from Wella Professionals, party styling by Pantene, grooming by head&shoulders, Gillette and Braun, skin consultations by Olay and makeup treatments including patriotic nail art by Max Factor.
The P&G Salons will offer up to 25,000 treatments over the course of The Games – that’s 25,000 opportunities to say “thank you”. P&G launched its ‘Thank You Mum’ campaign to celebrate and recognize the contributions of all mums across the world for their hard work and daily sacrifices, particularly the role of Mums of Olympians as the true heroes behind the Games.
I was invited to the P&G Salon at the Wella Studio to receive an Olay facial and make up from Max Factor and take a look around. I thought it was a lovely idea to treat the heroes behind the heroes and say a huge ‘Thank You Mum’ for their tireless hard work in getting their kids to the Games. Jessica Ennis and Victoria Pendleton have both visited the P&G Salon at the Wella Studio to get some well deserved pampering.
Visitors to P&G Salon at the Wella Studio can also take advantage of a lounge area where guests can relax and enjoy a photographic exhibition entitled the Beauty of the Olympic Games: a gallery of Olympic Athletes which tells the unique stories of some of the most influential and famous women who have competed in the past 100 years of the Olympic Games.
