Home furnishings and more

A while ago I was contacted about becoming a product tester for Dunelm Mill, the home wares and interiors company with stores across the UK. There are two stores within easy reach of where we live in London but you can also see their extensive range online and there really is something for everyone!

They sent me a couple of items to review and I love both of them.

Based on an Australian blog I’ve read for years, this book contains 12 fun characters to make and love. Perfectly pitched for my level of sewing, I can see I will be busy making some cute little animals for the children.

Big Brother was sent his first baking kit. The lovely gruffalo kit contains everything needed to get messy in the kitchen. The kit is aimed at 4+ but is actually perfect for my 25 month old. It includes a wipe clean baking apron, wooden rolling pin and spoon, 2 woodland inspired cookie cutters, recipe for Woodland Cookies, all contained in a lovely keepsake bag.

I can’t wait until he gets home from nursery when we’re going to make the cookies whilst listening to the Gruffalo!

I adore home furnishing shops and with our house move happening soon (fingers crossed) I will definitely be taking a closer look at our nearest Dunelm Mill soon.
