Fiona Cairns Gingerbread Tree Decorations

I’ll admit I can’t walk past a supermarket without having a quick look round. You never know what new products you’ll find which is how I came across Fiona Cairns Gingerbread Tree Decorations in Waitrose the other day. They were expensive but I couldn’t resist the cellophane wrapping and pretty ribbon – fickle I know.

£3.29 will buy 6 biscuits – 3 gingerbread hearts and 3 gingerbread stars. Each biscuit has a hole stamped through it and comes with a piece of coloured ribbon so you can decorate your Christmas tree with your expensive gingerbread biscuits if you wish.

Once opened the biscuits didn’t have a hope in hell of reaching our Christmas tree. They were quickly devoured by myself, husband and Big Brother. Yes, these biscuits are worth the price tag. Deliciously soft and full of Christmas spice but definitely too good for the tree. Ingredients include  ground ginger and ground cinnamon.

Roll on January when the post-baby/Christmas diet begins 🙂
