Monday Happy List – Week 91

Blogtacular photo walk in Notting Hill

Happy Monday everyone, hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was hugely busy which has knocked me for six a little. It’s lovely to have exciting things to look forward to but oh-so-nice to come home to family after an adventure.

This weekend I had my very own hall pass for 24 hours to attend Blogtacular. This was my second Blogtacular (read last years’ post here) and I had a great time; meeting lots of new bloggers, going on a Photowalk around Notting Hill, a paper party at West Elm and the conference itself. I’m going to try and write about it when I’ve digested the event.

Despite living in London I treated myself to an overnight stay at the Hub Premier Inn in Spitalfields. I used to frequent this part of London a lot so it was a lovely area to re-visit. I also appreciated having somewhere to come back to after the long Photowalk.

As if a busy Friday and Saturday wasn’t enough for one weekend! Yesterday saw us enjoying The Secret Life of Pets at the Odeon in Leicester Square. It’s made by the humans behind the Minions film and is just as funny so look out for my review this week.

Three days on the Central Line was beginning to have me reaching for the wine so I’m very grateful that I had something waiting for me when I got home. I heart Sparkling is a crisp and bubbly sparkling wine that has a kick of juicy fruit flavours and fruit aromas. It’s available from NISA and leading grocers at only £5.99 and is well worth a try.

My little 4 year old is starting Reception in September so my thoughts are already turning to buying new school uniform. Every year I find I leave it late and have such a hard time finding everything I need. Not this year! I have started picking up things as I need them and labelling them too. My Nametags sent us a sheet of their gorgeous new Mr Men name labels. There were loads of our favourite characters to choose from but we opted for Little Miss Fun. So happy to have another thing ticked off my to do list!
