Monday happy things

Posted on October 19, 2015February 6, 2016 by jenny

Morning everyone, hope you had a great weekend. This week is a 4 day week for us and we can’t wait for the half term holidays.

A few things kept me busy last week and my 5 Monday Happy Things are:

My new Orla Kiely beakers from John Lewis are making me pretty happy and bringing some cheer to the dull weather. I bought 4 colours – bubblegum, duck egg, lemon and olive. They need to produce a couple more colours so I can have one for every day of the week.

Last week we took part in a Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Twitter party. In 2 hours we managed to play with lots of the new toys from the Pet Vet range, play some party games, eat party food and tweet too! My 3 year old adores Doc McStuffins and particularly loves the new Interactive Doc and Friends toy she received as part of the party.

We had a very hectic weekend but the children enjoyed some downtime playing with the new Clangers Playtime Planet app. It features your favourite Clangers and seven games, each set in a different part of the Clanger’s little blue planet, where there are stars to be won on every level. My 5 year has really enjoyed playing it and discovering the app. It’s currently available for iPad and iPhone from the App store priced £2.29.

I’ve been enjoying spending time with my adult colouring books. Who knew I could love a colouring book as much as my children but I do! There are so many different ones but I like the one and only range.  I’ve been colouring in pages from the one and only enormous colouring book for adults which is large enough for the whole family to have a corner.

I treated myself to a Fitbug Orb. I keep seeing them mentioned in magazines and thought I would get myself one so I can track my activity. I spotted one for half price in Sainsbury’s and I’m quite enjoying wearing it.

I am loving the Orla Kiely beakers, I really like the pattern! Going to check out Sainsbury’s as I’ve been eyeing up a fitbug! xo

They’re gorgeous aren’t they!?! Much more practical than my collection of pretty handbags too!

Never heard of a fitbug orb, but I love the adult colouring book.. If I had the time my Instagram would be littered with the pics… 🙂
