Monday happy things

I’m so late with my weekly Monday happy things post. With half term in sunny Devon and my husband’s 40th birthday today we’ve been really busy, but in a good way.

– I finished The Miniaturist (which I loved) and have just started reading The Secrets Sisters Keep! by Sinead Moriarty which is looking promising.

– I came home to my sweet new acrylic prints which I had ordered from Truprint as a Mother’s Day gift to myself. I chose two of my favourite photographs of the children and turned them into acrylic prints which, at 6×4″, fit perfectly on my mantlepiece. They came with small stands too which means they stand up well.

If you’re looking for something special for Mother’s Day you may be interested in their Mum in a Million campaign. Truprint would like to make a million mums smile by giving away 1 million personalised Mother’s Day cards. You can use the code MUMINAMILLION at checkout to claim their card. See below for the full *T&Cs.

– I picked up a gorgeous little vintage table top wooden bookshelf whilst we were away. It’s perfect for keeping my favourite craft books close to hand and was a bargain from a charity shop in Dawlish.

– I discovered a new variety of Cadbury’s Fingers – Salted Caramel Crunch. They are divine and we may have got through a couple of packs whilst on holiday. Fortunately we were out every day so I think we burnt off any calories we consumed.

– We loved The Book of Life. We took part in a Twitter viewing party during half term and loved the film. The story is interesting, the animation is brilliant and the sound track is catchy.

  • Standard P&P charges apply (99p)

[…] My collection of vintage London buses has grown this month too which is great as I love them! They’re next to the new pics of my children from Truprint. Don’t forget you can order a free personalised Mother’s Day card from Truprint if you haven’t got round to organising yours yet. More details over here. […]
