Christmas tree ornament

Easy Christmas Tree ornament tutorial

Posted on December 4, 2014October 27, 2023 by jenny

We like creating with craft sticks. Last year the 4 year old made a sweet craft stick Christmas tree and this year we made some easy Christmas Tree ornaments using more green craft sticks.

We’ve been having so much fun with our Christmas crafting. My favourites so far are the Melted Snowman biscuits and the Christmas chocolate bars, but we’ve also been busy played Pin the Nose on Rudolph, making paper chains and baubles to hang on our tree. Today I wanted to share the easy Christmas Tree ornament tutorial with you.

Equipment needed to make easy Christmas Tree ornament:
green craft sticks
glue stick or glue dots
assortment of stickers, pom poms and glitter
green card
scissors
sellotape
ribbon

How to make an easy Christmas Tree ornament:

Place three green craft sticks on a sheet of green card in the shape of a tree and glue in place. Cut round the tree. You can decorate your tree with your favourite photo or drawing.

Christmas tree ornamentI filled a paint tray with stickers, pom poms and ribbon and let my children decorate their Christmas Tree ornaments.

Christmas tree ornamentThey enjoyed this craft as they love to decorate!

Christmas tree ornamentWe added small lengths of ribbon to the back held in place with sellotape so we can hang them from our trees. Hopefully we will start to decorate this weekend!
