King of the Railway at Drayton Manor Theme Park

Today we were invited to Drayton Manor Theme Park’s special screening of King of the Railway, the new Thomas & Friends film in the 4D Cinema at Drayton Manor. We had never been to Thomas Land at Drayton Manor before but it was top of the toddler’s to-do list! We managed to keep it all a surprise until we arrived and he was so happy, it was definitely worth keeping the secret.

We had a couple of hours to enjoy Thomas Land and we all loved it. It was very quiet so we were able to walk on to all the rides we wanted to and we managed 7 of the 15 rides and attractions. Before we knew it, it was time for our special screening of the new Thomas & Friends film, King of the Railway.

A special guest arrives on Sodor with a big surprise and important jobs for Thomas, Percy and James. The engines meet new friends and discover suits or armour, coats of arms and legends of long-ago heroes. Then their bravery is put to the test when their new friend Stephen goes missing.

King Of The Railway DVDThe film lasted about an hour and included new friends, Stephen, Millie, Connor and Caitlin. My children really enjoyed it, especially with the magical effects of the 4D cinema. The DVD was released on the 2nd September and includes bonus features such as 4 fantastic Guess Who? Puzzles, Sing-a-long Song: Working Together Again, NEW Sing-a-long Song: Searching Everywhere and NEW Sing-a-long Song:  It’s Gonna Be A Great Day.
