WWBack2Best challenge – update 4

These early dark evenings are not conducive to losing weight! I am really enjoying baking at the moment and finding it quite difficult to not over indulge. However, my jeans are getting looser so I must be doing something right.

When I started the challenge I was sent some Weight Watchers products to try.  You may remember this photograph of my son having a good look through the products! To be honest I thought they were a real mixed bunch. We liked the bread rolls, digestive biscuits, ginger biscuits, cakes and crisps, but didn’t like the curry sauce, juice, or hot chocolate which we just found tasted far too sweet.

I like the fact there’s a broad range of Weight Watchers products and I’ve never had any difficulty getting hold of them in any of the supermarkets near us. I like to keep some of the Weight Watchers biscuits and cakes for a sugar emergency but most of the time I prefer to cook from scratch.

My daily treat is a can of Diet Coke which is 0 ProPoints and I love the fact I’m still able to snack on treats and have the odd glass of wine as a result of my weekly ProPoints. I should mention that you can buy a range of foods online from the Weight Watchers website as well as in your local supermarket. You’ll also find the recipe books and a couple of other products I’ve been using which I’ll tell you about next week.

If you fancy trying out Weight Watchers for yourself, then you can access the online plan for a week for just £1 and trial the iPhone app for free here. Please make sure you read the small print though as the plan will automatically renew unless you instruct otherwise.

I’ve often thought of giving weight watchers a go, but I’m just not a joiner! I know I should though.

Oh, sugar emergency…when on a diet I have loads of “guilty-pleasure” snacks hidden in various places all over the house (until they’re found by those not on the diet!). Good luck!
