Time to bring back #AnchorElevenses and a gorgeous giveaway

Posted on January 17, 2012April 22, 2017 by jenny

Anchor Butter is bringing back Elevenses! Well… It never really went anywhere, it’s just been a little forgotten. They want to empower people who feel the need to have a nice little sit, with a cup of tea and a nibble at around 11 o’clock.

I love baking so was happy to bring back elevenses in our house by whipping up a batch of gingerbread biscuits using yummy Anchor butter. Here’s a link to the gingerbread recipe, just in case you want to make some yourself.

Giveaway

The lovely people at Anchor have given me some gorgeous items to offer as a giveaway to readers of the gingerbread house. I have 20 mugs and 20 cake tins to give away (pictured below) – all quite befitting for Elevenses I think!

To enter

To enter this lovely giveaway all you need to do is leave me a comment with your favourite Elevenses treat to give others some inspiration.

For an extra entry tell others about this giveaway by hitting the Retweet button below.

Small print

The giveaway will end at midnight on the 24th January. The winners will be chosen randomly and contacted using the email address or twitter name provided. If the winner does not reply within 3 days the competition will be redrawn. UK only. Please note the winners details will be passed to the PR company responsible for sending out the prizes. Good luck!

My favourite has to be a bar of chocolate with a cup of coffee… Bearing in mind the chocolate has to be dunked into the coffee, so its slightly melted =-)

Sadly, since I over-indulged at Christmas, a weight watchers digestive biscuit is my ‘treat’ at the moment! (They’re OK but a bit like sweetened cardboard!) Give me a Fox’s chocolate Viennese biscuit anytime!
