New shoes from Clarks

There’s something exciting about new shoes and Edward feels the same way. Last week we were invited to our local Clarks store so Edward could choose a pair of new shoes from the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection.

His feet were measured and I was surprised that his feet had grown a whole size. As a size 7H he needed the widest fitting which unfortunately limited our choice to just two pairs in stock. One pair had flashing lights which were very appealing but I didn’t like the colours of the shoe and the other pair featured a rather fab dinosaur on the shoe and sole.

Both fitted fine but we chose the leather pair featuring a dinosaur called Stomposaurus. They are leather and have a long velcro strap which are perfect for a wider fitting shoe.

The fitting didn’t take long and we celebrated by going for a walk in Ally Pally where Edward enjoyed running through the autumnal leaves.

Disclosure: we were sent a Clarks voucher in exchange for this review.

I always get so frustrated by the lack of choice in boys’ shoes in Clarks. I trust, and like, their shoes but just wish that our boys had the same amount of choice as the girls do! Those are a lovely pair though.

I had difficulty finding a pair of Clarks shoes I likes last year but this year I was really pleased to find a lovely pair of boots, they look great & seem really comfy on my little one too
