Clarks shoes (review)

Buying shoes scares me. I’ve never enjoyed shoe shopping and I’m terrified of buying shoes for Edward in case I damage his feet. Fortunately Clarks asked me if we would like to experience their shoe fitting service and we were very happy to oblige. After the rain cleared yesterday we made our way to our local Clarks in Muswell Hill where we were met by a very friendly fitter. Edward was very shy but was given a copy of the Clarks magazine which he looked through whilst I chatted to the shoe fitter about Edward’s feet.

He measured Edward’s feet and we were shown a selection of three pairs of shoes in his size. Edward tried on each pair, had a little walk in them and looked at himself in the mirror. The fitter made sure they fitted properly and we eventually chose a lovely pair with bugs on them.

The whole experience was much simpler and straightforward that I had anticipated. Edward was happy and we entered a competition to win £300 of Clarks vouchers whilst we paid. I was really pleased with the service and have even booked to have his feet measured again in 6 weeks time! At the end of our visit I was given an Autumn/Winter leaflet with a coupon for a 20% discount. Perhaps it’s time to treat myself 🙂

If you want the chance to win a £50 Clarks voucher take a look at my Clarks Back To School competition.

Can’t wait to take my son to get his first pair of shoes. Will be very exciting, but expensive I expect. Still a bit of a wait though.
