Reasons to be cheerful

1. Today I went to BlogCamp, organised by the fabulous Sally, and I had a great time. I learned lots of tips to improve my blog, met up with online friends, got to hand out my lovely new business cards and had a day off from being mummy.

2. I have the best husband! He booked the day off from work when I said I wanted to go to BlogCamp and spent the day with Edward. They played in the sandpit for most of the day and then went on a boys’ trip to a local model shop. It sounds like they had great fun and Edward went straight to sleep tonight so must have been worn out.

3. I missed my little man today but it made me realise just how much I love him. It was the longest I’ve spent without him and I missed his little arms being held out for a cuddle, his chatter and his company in general. It’s too easy to be tired and frustrated at the end of a long day, of not understanding what he wants or being a bit bored. A day off has made me appreciate everything I have right now.
