Vintage child’s chair

I’m enjoying the opportunity to share some of my favourite vintage finds with you all. I’ve had this vintage child’s chair for a while. I picked it up at a flea market on the Isle of Wight ages ago. However I just got it out as Edward is the right height to sit on it.

Over the weekend I made a little cushion for him to sit on out of some vintage Superman curtains which I also picked up at a charity shop on the Isle of Wight. I’d been holding onto the fabric for years but thought it would make a great little cushion. I’m going to use the spare to make a bag for Edward to take his belongings to nursery.

The Isle of Wight has always been a treasure trove for me. Next time I visit I think I might take a trailer!

  4. Loving your finds
All our toddler chairs came as bargains via Netmums or charity shops.
There was wicker one that my mum bought for a fiver which I thought was expensive at the time.
I got 2 free I think wooden chairs in shape of pig and horse years ago
More recently I got larger child leather rocking chairs in pink and blue for £25 again via Netmums
My finds are themed this week over at http://gigglingatitall.blogspot.com

  5. A very cute chair and it will look even better with a superman cushion. He will be the envy of the other kids at achool once you make him his special bag.
