Cath Kidston Orla Kiely

West End girl

Last week I had a cheeky trip to the West End. I say cheeky because since Edward came along I get little time to myself. Given a couple of hours I decided to go shopping even though I needed to catch up on some sleep and the house needed a clean. Anyway, I hopped on the tube to Covent Garden and I visited two shops, spent all the money I didn’t have, and came home. You can probably guess the two shops – Cath Kidston and Orla Kiely!

In Cath Kidston I picked up a new phone case for my iPhone. It’s made of durable oilcloth which is water resistant (and therefore baby spit resistant!). The case comes with a handy pull tab making it easy to get your phone out. I bought it in the new Tiny Rose print which is pretty – matching accessories are also available!

I bought some new clothes for me and Edward as well as some cute heart shaped buttons and some cloth patches for Edward’s badge blanket. They had a fantastic sale which encouraged me to spend more money.

I then nipped round the corner to the lovely Orla Kiely store where I bought a new handbag for myself as a treat. I’d seen the textured tonal stem a couple of times and couldn’t resist the large tote in purple. It’s a great size and will be perfect for going back to work in style.
