Free rainbow colouring page for kids

Free rainbow colouring page for kids from the gingerbread house

Are you making the most of your daily exercise time? With two young children our daily exercise is absolutely essential to stop us going crazy indoors. Thankfully the weather has been amazing all week and the children have been more than happy to go for a walk around the neighbourhood. Every day we have been on the look out for rainbows in windows, something that local children have been putting up in their windows to spread a little happiness.

My children have always adored a rainbow craft (see below for some of our favourites). They are happy to sit and colour so I thought it was about time I added a rainbow colouring page for kids on my site. A colouring activity is a great way to encourage some quiet time and reflective thinking.

STEP 1

Print out my free rainbow colouring page for kids. Just right click on the free rainbow colouring page for kids link here to print it out.

STEP 2

Set your child up with their favourite colouring pencils and pens so they can colour in the free colouring page. The colouring page features a rainbow, hearts and the word SMILE.

STEP 3

When your child has completed their rainbow then they can put it up in a window for everyone to see.

I love the idea of putting pictures of rainbows in windows so children can look out for them on their daily walks. I heard about another area where they are doing this with teddy bears in windows and the children then go on a bear hunt! But of course, your rainbow printable lets them have some additional fun and express their creativity as well. Great job!

These look fantastic, we are colouring pictures to give to local care homes to brighten their day. I’ll have to print a couple of these off.
