Carnival Games on Nintendo Switch

Carnival Games on Nintendo Switch

My 8 year old loves playing computer games. I limit his screen time but it’s his favourite thing, after playing with his Lego. We were kindly sent a copy of Carnival Games for the whole family to try. Carnival Games was released earlier this month priced at £34.99 and available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

My children love to go to the Fair and play on the games and rides. Carnival Games brings the Carnival home and the whole family is invited. There are 20 total mini-games to play – hit home runs, pile the highest stack of cakes, and take your horse to the finish line. Carnival Games can be played alone or with up to three others which makes it great for social gaming, playing with family or friends.

Like a real-life county fair, Carnival Games bursts with exciting mini-games that you can play over and over. Classic mini-games such as shooting basketballs (“Swish”) and taking down unfriendly clowns (“Clowning Around”) are joined by brand new attractions like flying drone racing (“Light Speed”) and cosmic bowling (“Cosmic Strike”).

Carnival Games is available for the Nintendo Switch and the PS4 , both of which we have. With Christmas coming up I thought it would be fun to get Carnival Games for the Switch as this often comes with us when we travel. Plus we can use it at home via the Dock on a bigger screen when we all want to play.

Both children have been playing Carnival Games. The games are quite short which makes it ideal for them but I love that the whole family can play it too. We actually bought two more controllers just we could all join in and be even more competitive.

Not only can you play games, you can also win tickets, and trade them in for new outfits for your carnival guest characters. Dress them up to match your style or be as wild as you can with wacky headgear, shirts and bottoms.

This is a fun game for the whole family and would make a great stocking filler for the gamer in your life.
