We love celebrating the seasons here at the gingerbread house. We can’t resist a beautiful new book for children so were delighted to receive a copy of Nature Month-by-Month. This is a lovely book which takes you on an inspirational month-by-month journey through the seasons.

Beautifully illustrated in full colour throughout by Elly Jahnz and written by nature-lover and wild swimmer Anna Wilson, this fantastic guide to the year includes nature spotter and animal behaviour guides, indoor and outdoor craft and activity ideas, seasonal recipes, and celebrations of religious festivals and special days happening through the year.

Nature Month-by-Month is a wonderful gift to treasure and explore throughout the year, this gorgeous almanac will encourage young readers to connect with nature and the world around them. It’s a great book to dip into each month. It’s laid out really well and I love the mix of facts with crafts and activities. It really is a lovely book to help children enjoy the seasons and celebrate them.

    What an absolutely gorgeous book. Looks jam packed full of interesting facts too. I like that it talks about special days during the month too.

    this looks like such a lovely book – I am all for getting outdoors more. And it can encourage everyone to want to go outside a lot more when there is a focus
