A healthy packed lunch for school with GoGo squeeZ

A healthy packed lunch for school with GoGo squeeZ

With my son starting a new school and going into Year 3 I’ve been tasked with providing a healthy packed lunch for him very day. Free school meals were an amazing bonus and I was sad when he was no longer eligible to receive them. He asked to try packed lunches, partly I think he was fed up of queuing for lunch, so I’ve been trying to make healthy packed lunches for him.

As well as a packed lunch my son is able to take a healthy snack for break time. I’m fortunate that he enjoys fruit and enjoys a balanced pack lunch. Three weeks in and I have to admit that the novelty of preparing a packed lunch has worn off for both of us.

Fortunately we were sent a supply of GoGo squeeZ® to try out and have they saved my sanity! GoGo squeeZ®is a range of squeezable fruit snacks and yoghurt snacks with no artificial anything! With no mess and no need to keep in the fridge, GoGo squeeZ® is a fun, convenient snack for your children when they’re out and on the go.

The good thing about GoGo squeeZ® is that they contain no nasties. They are also really convenient for us busy mums, there’s no need to peel and chop and all that boring stuff. Plus they are an easy way for children to get 1 of their 5 a day.

My children are at the stage when they argue about everything. When I asked them which flavour of GoGo squeeZ® was their favourite they almost came to blows! My 7 year has taken a different flavour to school each day and so far favours the Apple flavour. My 5 year old insisted that I take them to school pick up so she can have hers as her after school snack. She loves the two yoghurt snacks.

There are 3 different yummy flavours to try: Apple, Apple-Strawberry, and Apple-Mango, as well as a Yoghurt version in Strawberry and Banana flavour. They’re now available in Tesco, and will shortly be available on Amazon too.

These look perfect for lunchboxes – are they in the chilled or ambient section?

These look great and I’m sure my kids would love them. I’m with you though, packed lunches are hard aren’t they? At least products like this help.

Forget this being for the kids – I would have this for myself ha! I think the yoghurt ones sound super yummy. Will have to think about this for next picnic with my younger cousins.

Not sure about for kids, I could do with a few of these in my fridge to encourage me to take on some form of fruit lol. Stephen
