Schleich Mobile vet with Hanoverian foal

Over the Summer holidays we reviewed some wonderful Schleich toys which we will be sharing with you over the next few weeks. We’re big fans of Schleich toys and have reviewed quite a few. Just in case you haven’t heard of them before, Schleich is a German producer of handpainted toy figurines and accessories. They are highly realistic and detailed and perfect for imaginative play, which we all know is so important for children.

My 5 year old loves horses and has a few sets from the Schleich Horse Club range. She received the Mobile Vet van. I love that all products come with a story attached. According to the Schleich website:

The vet is driving as fast as she can to the scene of an urgent emergency: a Hanoverian foal has been injured! She examines the animal with the mobile X-ray machine that she transported in the car’s spacious boot. To make sure the foal gets better again quickly, she gives it an injection with medicine from her medical bag and then records her diagnosis on her laptop.

We made a video of us unboxing this lovely set which you can take a look at and see all the accessories here:

It’s a really fun set which includes a vet figure, hanoverian foal, mobile van, medical bag, stethoscope, syringe, medicine bottle , laptop, X-ray machine, bandage, halter , apples, table and chair. There are a few sheets of stickers which need to be applied and the set also includes a prescription pad which is perfect for budding young vets.

My children have been having so much imaginative fun with this playset. It’s pretty robust so has been taken outside so they could set up a farm with all their farmyard animals. As you would expect, there is a great level of detail, and we really love the addition of the prescription pad.

The Schleich Mobile vet with Hanoverian foal is perfect for children aged 4 and over, is priced at £29.99, and available from the Schleich website.
