Topping up tummies {Wings and Wheels Model Spectacular}

Today we had a pretty long day out at Wings and Wheels Model Spectacular. This is an annual radio control model show which takes place at the historic North Weald Airfield in Essex. We try and go ever year as my husband flies model planes (and has radio control cars and boats too!).

There was plenty to see and do. The children both wanted to have a go at everything. My 7 year old drove a remote control lorry around a track (badly).

They both enjoyed the radio control boats.

The weather was so much cooler than it has been and it was actually nice to be outside. We had our picnic sitting and watching the planes fly by.

There was plenty of walking around. As well as watching the flying there were lots of stalls and a Bring and Buy – thankfully my husband didn’t make any big purchases. I made sure to pack plenty of food and drinks to keep us all going. We had been sent the new YAZOO No Added Sugar drinks and I couldn’t wait to see what everyone thought.

We’re fans of YAZOO anyway but I was intrigued by the sound of these. There are three flavours – Strawberry, Banana and Toffee – all have no added sugar or artificial sweeteners. One 200ml bottle also has the same amount of sugar as a glass of semi-skimmed milk.

We had a little taste test whilst we were out and they went down really well. Best served chilled they are an easy way to top up tummies and make a great afternoon treat.

Thanks to YAZOO for the Family Fun Pack which included the drinks.
