Bostik Family Craft Bloggers Network crafts Easter Spring

Simple bunny jar for Easter treats

Last week I received my usual box of crafting supplies to take part in the March Bostik Bloggers craft challenge. The theme was Easter which is perfect as I have been itching to get started on some Spring time crafts. This month our box included the wonderful Fine & Wide Glu Pen as well as a packet of white Blu Tack, both really useful crafting products.

I decided to make some little Easter treat jars for my children. They love Easter, who doesn’t with all that chocolate, so I thought some cute little bunny jars would go down well.

I used:
empty glass jar with the label removed
Bostik Fine & Wide Glu Pen
Bostik Blu Tack
Mini chocolate Easter eggs
White pom poms
White and lilac card

This is so simple but fun. Draw a pair of bunny ears on your sheet of card, then draw slightly smaller ears from a contrasting colour. Glue the small ears onto the larger ones using the Bostik Fine & Wide Glu Pen, set aside to dry.

Fill your glass jar with mini chocolate eggs or similar, both my children love mini eggs.

I had to cover the top of my jar lid with a circle of card as the best before date was printed on it. I attached this to the jar lid with two dots of Blu Tack.

Attach the two card bunny ears to the top of your jar with blobs of Blu Tack.

Add a white pom pom tail at the bottom.

You could add on some eyes and a mouth with a permanent pen or leave as it plain. See, a simple bunny jar for Easter treats!

Aww, they look so cute, love the idea. I might do something like this for Easter and fill it with homemade biscuits. Love it. x
