Monday Happy List

Monday happy things {week 124}

a bunch of crocuses

This half term has gone super quick and I’m so happy that we’re enjoying a half term break already. The weather has been so cold but we were rewarded with warmer temperatures and sunshine today which made everyone happy. Time for my weekly Monday happy things post.

Monday happy things post {week 124}

Last week was busy as I helped on a school trip my son went on with his Year 2 classmates to Bhaktivedanta Manor. I knew nothing about Hinduism before I went but the trip was very enlightening. We were shown around the farm and shrine and even enjoyed an amazing vegetarian curry.

My daughter has recently started Rainbows which she really seems to enjoy and  I helped at their meeting. Working with children is always a bit of an eye opener but I had loads of fun. They made Valentine’s cards. My daughter made one for her Grandad which I thought was really sweet.

a trip to Exeter Museum

We have escaped to Exeter for half term. So far we have enjoyed a walk around the City Walls spotting signs of Spring. We also managed to squeeze in a visited to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum where the children took part in a treasure hunt.

Freakshakes at Byron

I finally had my first Freakshake at Byron which was pretty spectacular. In fact it was so large the whole family shared it with me.

I also went swimming with the children for the first time ever! Our hotel has a wonderful swimming pool and gym and the family always go for a swim when we stay. It seemed the right time to join them so we had a family swim session. It definitely helped build up an appetite for breakfast.
