Twinkl’s new eBook, Ronald the Rhino

Ronald the Rhino book from Twinkl

I love taking an interest in my children’s education and help reinforce what they are learning at school at home. I have been helping with Active Reading for the past few months, which I love, so was delighted to hear about Twinkl’s new eBook, Ronald the Rhino.

Twinkl provide instant access to a complete range of award-winning teacher-created, engaging and inspiring teaching, planning and assessment materials. These are not just for teachers however, are are also great for parents, childminders and home educators.

Ronald the Rhino

Twinkl are always bringing out great new products and the latest is the Ronald the Rhino eBook, perfect for KS1:

Ronald the Rhino is big and strong, but Ronald is sad because he longs to be interesting like his forest friends. Discover more about how Ronald’s friends help him to realise how special he truly is! A beautiful story about friendship and self-confidence.

I downloaded this for my Mac and the children were happy to read it as an ebook as they have quite a few books stored on my iPad. My 6 year old had no trouble reading the story, which they both enjoyed. It has lots of repetition, which they love, as well as rhyme. It was just the right length for them and there are lovely illustrations to talk about too.

As you would expect from Twinkl there are some great resources to reinforce the Ronald the Rhino story for use at home or school. They are easy to look through too and we found plenty for my daughter, who is in Reception, and my Year 2 son.
