A no nonsense breakfast with BEAR Alphabites

A no nonsense breakfast with BEAR Alphabites

Post in collaboration with BEAR Alphabites

Regular readers of my blog will know we’re huge fans of BEAR products. They recently sent me a parcel of goodies and I was so excited! I opened up the box to find two boxes of BEAR Alphabites cereal, a gorgeous place mat, bowl and personalised spoon.

With one child in Reception and another in Year 2 I know the importance of a good breakfast for the whole family. My children need a lot of energy to get through the school day so a healthy breakfast is a must. I have one child who is an early riser and another who literally needs picking out of the bed in the morning, but what they both need is a good breakfast.

We banned sugary cereal a long time ago as it felt so wrong to feed the kids cereals packed with artificial sugar or sweeteners. Instead we prefer to give them either  fresh fruit  or cereals with natural ingredients like BEAR Alphabites.

Alphabites are  are a delicious, healthy breakfast cereal with no refined sugar, salt or any other  nonsense and they contain only six simple ingredients (unlike some other cereals containing up to 22!) Instead of artificial sugar or sweeteners, BEAR use coconut blossom nectar to sweeten their Alphabites – which has a naturally low GI and contains twice the calcium of milk! BEAR Alphabites are also beautifully packaged making them great for the kids!  I’ve also grown to love the cereal, since both my children are now at school I’ve got into the habit of coming home after the school run, making myself a huge mug of tea and enjoying my Alphabites breakfast in peace.  It’s safe to say we all love BEAR Alphabites, what’s more there are two yummy flavours – Cocoa and Multigrain – and with two children they don’t usually have to fight for their favourite. As long as there’s enough left for me then I’m as happy as they are!

A good breakfast is so important – I try to make sure my son has one every day. A good cereal is a really easy way to do it.

Think I might try the chocolate version with my very fussy boy.
