Reorganising my kitchen with Dial

Food storage containers with datable lid

So I know I don’t usually write about kitchen storage but today I feel compelled. I have a kitchen cupboard I just dread to open. Every time I do the contents fall out all over the floor. This cupboard contains my plastic containers and leftover takeaway containers.

I use this cupboard on a daily basis. I’m a thrifty cook and will always store leftovers if it means I can save time in the kitchen (my least favourite room in the house!). Over the years this collection has grown, especially as I now seem to be cooking more meals than ever before as well as providing packed lunches and picnics to my little family.

I’ve long admired the kitchen section in John Lewis and frequently touched the Joseph Joseph products longingly. They make ingenious kitchenware and utensils in quirky, fun designs. We already have their amazing adjustable rolling pin which takes the guesswork out of rolling dough – perfect biscuits every time!

Dial – food storage containers with datable lid

We were offered the Dial 5-piece storage container set with datable lids to review. Each lid contains a handy day and month dial which makes it simple to store food and know exactly when you stored it. I’ve been using ours to freeze leftovers and also took some away on holiday with us, perfect when I was clearing out the fridge and needed to know best before dates!

They stack easily on fridge shelves and freezer drawers and don’t look bad empty and waiting to be used. Even better, the bases are microwave and dishwasher safe and they are BPA free.

The Dial 5-piece storage container set with datable lids costs £45.00 and is available from the Joseph Joseph website, John Lewis and other good homeware shops.

Ooooh this is a great idea ! Love the fact you can add the date – so clever! I have a cupboard exactly as you describe!
