Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

Both my children enjoy crafting and as they get a little older they are able to craft independently of me. My 5 year old loves to craft and often asks me for a craft to do between getting home from school and dinner. He’s been steadily working his way through a pile of Christmas craft kits from Baker Ross and I’m going to share the end results with you.

We love making sun catchers and my 3 and 5 year old enjoyed the Penguin Stained Glass Effect Hanging Decorations. I don’t think penguins are particularly Christmassy but the decorations were fun to put together. We placed a sheet of contact paper underneath each one to make it nice and easy. The kit contained 6 penguins of 3 different designs.

The Penguin Bean Pals compliment the Penguin Stained Glass Effect Hanging Decorations. There are 4 different designs in a pack and they make fun decorations. I’m tempted to place one in the children’s stockings this year too.

Both children love to colour and the Christmas Personalised Door Hangers comes in a pack of 8 with 4 different designs. The children quickly chose their favourite characters and coloured them in usingĀ Fab Fibre Tip Pens. The 5 year old was able to write his name in the space provided. These are great quality and the cardboard is really thick.

Baker Ross kits are great value. Each kit we were sent contains a couple of kits so are perfect for play dates or parties. Both the children had fun putting together the Build a Snowman Kits, Christmas Bucket Buddies and Funky Reindeer Wooden Photo Frame Kits with minimal help. I think they make great decorations too!

[…] To re-create BB-8 I used a polystyrene ball, and used a left over polystyrene shape from a Baker Ross snowman craft kit. […]
