Monday happy things

What a busy week and weekend! It’s lovely to sit down and take 5 minutes to remember the things which made me smile last week.

We enjoyed an amazing meal at Strada at Riverside (More London) on Saturday. We had the best table in the house and were able to enjoy a delicious lunch with a view encompassing HMS Belfast to the Tower of London and London Bridge. I will be writing a full post about our experience this week but let me leave you with this image of our Burrata & prosciutto starter until then.

We spent yesterday spotting the Lego Brick Animals at London Wetland Centre. We’d never visited before but had a lovely day out in the sunshine. The children took part in a fun Lego workshop, building Lego ducklings, racing their Lego cars and made a Lego pumpkin which they were able to bring home. The Lego Brick Animals are there until the 8th November and I would definitely recommend it.

I had fun making my 3 year old a special Sylvanian Families themed lunch. She loved it so much she told her brother (who had been at school). I re-created it at the weekend so he could enjoy it too.

I’ve had lots of craft time. I’ve stitched a new gingerbread house decoration, tried my hand at weaving, and am finishing off some cute felt ornaments for a handmade decoration swap.

My new iPhone arrived. Shallow I know. I already had the iPhone 6Plus but now have the iPhone 6s Plus in beautiful Rose Gold. It’s taking some getting used to and I’ve already turned off the Live Photo feature which just ruins perfectly good photos!
