Christmas gingerbread Kids crafts shopping

Monday happy things

I can’t believe we are 10 days away from the Summer holidays! This term is really rushing by.

Top of my list of things which made my happy this is surviving the parents race at Sports Day! I hated Sports Day when I was at school but I’m pleased to say both my children loved theirs this year.

I was so happy to be challenged to decorate a teepee by Hobbycraft and write a post for the Hobbycaft blog. We were sent a teepee and some craft supplies and the whole family had lots of fun decorating it. We experimented with glitter dipped feathers and pom pom garlands and hopefully made something to inspire others.

The Union flag quilt I started a while ago is finally finished and being enjoyed by my daughter. I can’t wait to start my next sewing project which is a Good Old Blightly quilt.

Last week I attended a couple of Christmas previews and was delighted with this pack of gingerbread men biscuits with iced bows. It’s always lovely to get a sneak peak of upcoming trends and I’m excited about Christmas shopping.

They both enjoyed it, just hope they don’t now think they can put their hand prints on everything….
