Cath Kidston days out

Monday happy things

The last week was really fun and busy for us. I’m not quite sure how we survived the phenomenal heat, but we did.

On the hottest day of the year I found myself enjoying a delicious lunch at The Ritz with my 3-year-old. We were invited there to meet parenting expert Sarah Ockwell-Smith and see the new My First Forever Friends range from Golden Bear. I will be telling you more about this shortly.

When I was in the West End I popped in the flagship Cath Kidston store in Piccadilly and saw a button necklace which had been on my wish list for ages. I thought I would just make my own but I never got round to it so when I realised it was it the Sale I snapped it up. I’ve been wearing it every day so I’ve definitely got my money’s worth.

I was commissioned to do some work for one of my favourite brands and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you. It was something that involved the whole family and we’ll be using it all Summer 🙂

We’ve all been enjoying spending time outside in the sunshine. Yesterday we visited Cliveden which is a wonderful National Trust property near us. We got lost in the maze, explored the gardens and the children played in the StoryBook Play Den for hours.

We’re booking a weekend away, our first since having the children, which I am both excited about and a little nervous. We’re not going far but we’ll be fitting in as much as possible and I really can’t wait.

It’s surprisingly heavy but it goes with everything.
