Monday happy things

Happy Monday everyone! We had a lovely relaxing weekend so I’m feeling refreshed and ready for a new week.

Over the weekend we celebrated Father’s Day with homemade gifts and  yummy meal out. After the children had gone to bed we shared a bottle of wine from the i heart range. i heart is an exciting new range of great quality, fruit-driven wines in stand-out, innovative and iconic packaging.  The wines are ‘true to varietal’ in style which means if you love Pinot Grigio then you will love i heart Pinot Grigio! There’s a range of miniatures too if you don’t want to open a whole bottle, perfect for a picnic when the weather clears up.

I found lots of unicorn inspiration at the Paperchase Back to School preview last week. It has been inspiring us at home and we spent the weekend making unicorn biscuits. I’ll be sharing more details of the new Paperchase products soon.

My 3 year old daughter took part in her first Sports Day at nursery which she really enjoyed. It was a traditional Sports Day with an egg and spoon race and a sack race. I’m not sure where she gets her sporting ability from (definitely not me or my husband) but she loved taking part and was rewarded with a medal. Sports Day is a definite sign that the Summer holidays are getting closer.

Yesterday we were delighted to meet Miffy at the UK charity premiere of the new miffy the movie in Leicester Square. For once my children weren’t the shy ones and were happy to pose for photographs with her.

I found an amazing haul of vintage Sylvanian Families toys when I went charity shopping. My 3 year old loves Sylvanian Families so we were excited to find the Country Bus in red and Waterside Canal Boat, both boxed, and just £4 each. They were in great condition, if a little dusty, and we were very happy to buy them.
