days out sewing upcycling

Monday happy things

I can’t believe that two weeks of school holidays are over so quickly. The holidays kept us busy and we created some really fun memories.

The weather has been amazing so we’ve spent a lot of time sorting out the garden. We’ve had a few trips to the local garden centre and put in some lovely plants and veg in our upcycled pallet planter.

I enjoyed spending time with my mum over the Easter holidays. She always organises the best Easter egg hunt which the children love and she helped me upcycle a Cath Kidston skirt into a cushion.

The children and I were treated to afternoon tea with Elmo and friends from The Furchester Hotel.

We finally conquered the hills at Northala Fields on what seemed the windiest day of the year.

I reached over 200000 followers on Pinterest which I find slightly crazy. Along with Instagram it’s my favourite social network. Come and follow me if you’re not already!

Thanks for the follow 🙂 Will have to blog about the skirt soon. It’s definitely better as a cushion!

I have a 3 year old and a 7 year old and like you say, school holidays whizz by, although, I am quite happy when the kids do go back to school – gives me a little rest. 🙂

Amazing number of followers! Congratulations on the 200k!
