Peppa Pig on demand with NOW TV

A couple of weeks ago we were invited to the recently opened Ham Yard Hotel in Soho for a fun family morning with NOW TV as they celebrated Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. joining NOW TV in time for summer.

The children enjoyed some really fun activities, including colouring, face painting, eating delicious cakes and of course, watching NOW TV.

My little pre-schoolers adore Nick Jr so I was excited to learn more about NOW TV. Basically NOW TV is a media streaming service which doesn’t require a contract. All you need is an HDMI-equipped TV, an internet connection and the NOW TV box and remote control (which currently retail for £9.99). The service is quite easy to set up and requires you to register your details. You can purchase a monthly pass which gives you on demand access to a Sports, Movies or Entertainment package.

The NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass is great for families and offers a simple, instant and contract-free way to access top subscription TV channels for just £4.99 a month. Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. shows live and on demand have recently been added, just in time for the summer holidays. With popular shows such as Peppa Pig, Dora the Explorer and Paw Patrol, Nick Jr. it’s perfect for keeping the little ones entertained with daily adventures. For older children and teens, Nickelodeon offers a great line-up of entertaining and funny shows, including Sam & Cat, SpongeBob SquarePants, Victorious, and The Thundermansall available to watch live and on demand.

We found it easy to set up and use and we’ve all been enjoying the luxury of Peppa Pig on demand (perfect for giving me 5 minutes peace!). The children are able to use the remote and I think we could all get used to this new way of watching our favourite programmes.

The NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass already lets customers watch hit shows on 10 of the UK’s best TV channels including Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts 1, Discovery, MTV, Comedy Central, GOLD, Disney and FOX. It’s available on the NOW TV Box, PS3™, PS4™, Roku, LG Smart TV, Xbox®360, Android™, PC and Mac, iPad® and iPhone®.

More information on NOW TV is available from nowtv.com or join them on Twitter @NOWTV and @NOWTVSport and facebook.com/NOWTV.

Disclosure – I was invited to the above event and provided with a NOW TV box and month pass but not asked to write this post.

This sounds perfect. At the moment I rely on recordings of Peppa from my sky box to keep my two girls quiet for 10 minutes but this is definitely a service I would consider 🙂 x

I have always wondered how now tv works. I currently have amazon prime and netflix and have yet to look into this. Sounds like something that may be hit with my daughter x

I’ve used Now TV before and thought the service was pretty good. I’m sure my nieces will be thrilled that Peppa Pig is now on there x

I think Now TV will solve all my temporary problems! I’m not a mum but will be helping friends out with their kids while one recovers from surgery. Their kids love Peppa Pig!

I’ve always been intrigued by nowtv! I’ve had netflix for ages but it might be time to swap over. Sounds especially handy for when I’m babysitting!

I signed up to NOW TV a while back and it was pretty cool. The only negative side was the fact that not all the shows would stream live (like the Simpsons on Sky One). If they would show that I would subscribe again in a heartbeat!
