Nutmeg clothes from Morrisons

A few weeks ago we were invited to check out the Spring/Summer collection from Nutmeg – Morrisons very own clothing range.

I really enjoyed looking at the different collections and it was fascinating talking to the designer and hearing about what influenced her. The clothes are all very affordable but that doesn’t mean they’ve scrimped on quality. As well as being on trend there were lots of nice touches, like chunky zips on jackets so little fingers have something to grab on to, super soft fabrics for ultimate comfort, side poppers on baby clothes for easy on and off and brilliant integrated labels so no more scratchy labels!

Somehow both my children are already interested in what clothes I pick out for them. Seriously, at ages 2 and 4 I didn’t think I would have to be worrying too much about their clothes. They love to wear bright colours, be comfortable and they want to look and feel good.

Luckily they were both attracted to the clothes they saw. The bold slogan tees really appealed to Big Brother and Little Sis loved the pretty dresses, leggings and tops. Fortunately for her she was sent a beautiful striped yellow dress and cream cardigan from the Mini Modernist collection. We saved the outfit until Mother’s Day and she wore them out for our delicious family meal at ASK Italian.

She was very happy to put on her ‘party dress’ as she called it. The fabric was lovely and soft and we both loved the little cap sleeves.

She looked gorgeous – I know I am biased, but she really did. The striped dress costs only £8, I’m afraid I can’t remember the cost of the cardigan but it was superb value.

The outfit did get a little messy but I’m pleased to day it machine washed as good as new and I know she’ll be wearing the outfit again, I think the colours are very seasonal so will be perfect for her Easter party at nursery.

You can’t buy Nutmeg clothes online but they are available in selected Morrisons and Kiddicare stores, the website has a handy store locator too. Cute slogan tshirts start at just £2 which represents amazing value and couldn’t be more convenient for busy mums to pick up whilst doing the weekly shop.

I’ve bought a few Nutmeg items and we love them! What I like the most is that they are different and as they’re not as well known as other supermarket clothes they are not seen as much. I’ve seen the new season and there are soooo many items I want to get, especially for Isabella x

I could spend a fortune on most of the items 🙂 I agree, they are different to what I’ve seen in other supermarkets.

I love that stripey dress! Very cute. I think if you can get the kids clothes whilst buying food, it’s got to be a winner!

I have recently been introduced to Nutmeg by my MIL who seems to be a little obsessed with it at the moment! The clothes are lovely, great quality and a great price. I love that dress.
