{book review} New Zoe and Beans board books

I’m really happy that my children adore books as much as I do. My 2 year old in particular loves Zoe and Beans so we were delighted to get our hands on two brand-new board book titles in the superb Zoe and Beans series! These two lovely stories are perfect for little hands and explore themes of discovery, wonder, nature and night-time!

Help Zoe and her dog Beans find their missing ladybird in Hello Ladybird! Zoe and Beans have found a ladybird! But where has it gone? It’s nowhere to be found in the garden, but they do discover all kinds of other things whilst they are looking. A classic hide-and-seek story – can you spot the ladybird on every page?

Zoe, Beans and their friend Oscar aren’t scared of anything! Are you brave enough to pick up snails, jump in the deep end and play with a spider? But are they afraid of the dark…? Find out in We’re not scared! Introducing a new character, Oscar’s adorable little sister Evie.

The new Zoe and Beans board books are lovely additions to the series. They’re the perfect length for a bedtime story and my 2 year old is just like Zoe, especially in the We’re not Scared book. She’s pretty fearless and acts just like her older brother. The stories are engaging and the illustrations are lively and bring each story to life. We can’t wait to see more of the adventures of Zoe and Beans.

Don’t forget to take a look at the sparkly new interactive Zoe and Beans website (which has some brilliant downloadable activity sheets) or the amazing Zoe and Beans Facebook page. The page is run by Chloe Inkpen, and she’s posting some fantastic extra content and “behind the scenes” images so do head over and have a look. Keep your eye out for a brand new Zoe and Beans picture book, PIRATE TREASURE! publishing this summer.
