Charlotte Liddle offers the perfect solution for those who need to spruce up their shoe collection with 35 ways to make your feet more fun. We were sent a copy to review and my head is bursting with ideas!

Removeable fixes are a non-permanent way to add life and colour to a tired pair of shoes with clip-on flowers and ribbon laces leading the way. You can transform really old shoes more permanently and add a splash of colour with vibrant fabric paints, a splatter of sequins or a collage of pictures.

Pussy Cat Bows steal the show as the cutest suggestion for how to successfully Pimp Your Pumps. Every project is complete with clear instructions and artworks to ensure that budding fashionistas can develop their crafty skills and give their shoes the makeover they deserve.

There are some great ideas to transform sandals, flip flops, sneakers, pumps, wellies, slippers and more. I can’t wait to share the book with my craft-loving niece as this book is right up her street. There’s a really fun idea for adding a tape measure bow to a pair of pumps which I know she’ll love. I’ve also book-marked the dinosaur slippers for my son! Everything you need can easily be bought from your local craft shop so the only difficult decision is what to make first!

Pimp Your Pumps by Charlottle Liddle is published by CICO Kidz at £9.99, and is available from all good bookshops or call 01256 302699 from March 2014.
