How to make Minions from kinder eggs

Our household is a little bit obsessed with Minions at the moment. Minions are of course the highlight of the films Despicable Me, to my toddler anyway! I’ve seen lots of Despicable Me crafts on Pinterest and thought we would make our own Minions. We used the plastic shell from a Kinder Surprise which is the perfect shape and colour.

You don’t need many supplies to make your Minions; the shell from an empty Kinder Surprise, blue and black Sharpies, googly eyes and Scotch Super Glue.

The plastic shell already has a helpful ridge, just where you need to draw the Minions dungarees. Draw the outline and colour in using a permanent blue pen, then add arms, feet and glasses in black.

Added large googly eyes and they’re done.

Gah! I’m in love with these!!!! I’ve swiped the Macky D’s toys for myself because I’m obsessed… now I can totally make my own out of my favourite chocolate too. All the more reason to eat Kinder Eggs! ha! xx

A good way to make children’s toys. At the same time we can make toys with them.

Los minions de kinder quedan perfectos pegando ojos “google” y haciendo los brazos com 10cm de limpiapipas atravesando por el medio, con recortes de eva negra para pies y manos.
