Cath Kidston Lego London Uncategorized

Am I too old for Lego?

The other day we went to Westfield Stratford. I love that place as, although I’m not a big shopper, I love the fact that I can visit John Lewis, Waitrose and Lakeland all under one roof. There’s also plenty of places to eat, a fab viewing platform over the Olympic site, a pop-up Cath Kidston store and the baby changing/feeding rooms are a genius idea.

As I’ve mentioned before the toddler has really taken to Lego Duplo. He has enough sets that he can build houses and generally let his little imagination flow.

My husband and I are both Lego fans, especially technical Lego although sadly neither of us kept our childhood sets. We often venture into the Lego Shop but this time we didn’t come away empty handed. I’ve been longing to make a Lego sewing machine so thought I would pick up some pieces from the Pick a Brick wall but didn’t know where to start. Instead I ended up buying a Lego Creator set so I could have fun building a house and hopefully a Lego sewing machine along the way.

Of course when my husband saw me buying something he had to treat himself with a Lego Star Wars set and the Big Ben set from the new Architecture series. I love the Lego store but it’s a dangerous place to go! Am I too old for Lego? Who cares!

Oh I absolutely love Westfield Stratford City AND their lego store.
Sad that I have only been to both twice.
I wrote a post about our day there though and it gets a few hits every single day.
I think because of the title of the post.
