In the Night Garden Daytime Sleepover!

Edward was invited to the Rainforest Cafe to help celebrate the launch of a new toy range which includes Good Night Friend Upsy Daisy. He’s a huge In The Night Garden fan so I knew this was one event we couldn’t miss. When we arrived at the venue we found a lovely area filled with plush Upsy Daisy and Iggle Piggle’s to play with. Edward was in his element and happily played until lunch arrived.

After lunch Upsy Daisy arrived and Edward, initially shy, was very happy to pose for photos with her. In fact he was having such a great time he didn’t want to leave her alone.

After Upsy Daisy had left Cerrie from CBeebies arrived and read stories from the In The Night Garden Storybooks. Edward loves Cerrie and really enjoyed listening to her reading – much better than on the tv!

Some of the older children came out with some great questions for Cerrie, such as “Where’s Alex?”, answer filming in Salford. “Where do you live?” Answer, not the CBeebies house. “Can we sing the Show Me, Show Me song?” Answer, I don’t actually know the words!. Cerrie was a true professional in reading the stories whilst being continually interrupted from all her little fans.

Disclosure: we were provided with a goody bag to attend the event.

The NEW Good Night Friends Upsy Daisy comes with a cute removable nightdress and snuggly slipper accessories. Let your little one tuck Upsy Daisy in, before they both settle down for a bedtime story by the soft glow of Upsy Daisy’s flower-shaped light. Night, night everyone! Priced at £19.99 and suitable for preschoolers age 2 years+.

Good Night Friends Igglepiggle remains a firm favourite amongst In the Night Garden fans! This cuddly plush character needs to be “tucked in” and read a bedtime story by you and your little one! This toy comes with lantern, storybook and removable pyjama and slipper accessories.
Priced at £19.99 and suitable for preschoolers age 2 years+.

The In the Night Garden range is available at all good retailers.  For more information visit www.hasbro.co.uk
