We were recently sent a BabyDan magnetic drawer/cupboard lock to review. I was really happy to try this as Edward is increasingly moving around and it won’t be long before we have to have a serious think about locks on cupboards and stair gates.
The magnetic drawer/cupboard lock was simple to fit and can be screwed or stuck (both screws and an adhesive are provided) to your drawer or cupboard. The mechanism looks complicated but is actually really simple! It uses gravity to keep it locked and a magnet in the key to unlock it. We liked the way it can be locked open if needed. If you don’t want to ruin the look of your kitchen you don’t actually need to attach the key holder to the drawer or cupboard as you can hear the magnet unlocking. Our only comment was that you might lose the magnet when not in use so you would need to put it somewhere safe!
In conclusion a useful product for keeping your child safe from the hazards at home.
