Fabric goodies

Today I went to the Knitting and Stitching Show at Ally Pally. It is literally on my doorstep and I have been going for the last couple of years because it’s a great place to get inspired and stock up on sewing essentials. Every year I seem to visit the same stands and buy things that I never use. So this year I am going to show you them in the vain hope I will complete the projects before next years’ Knitting and Stitching Show! I’ve also added them to my Day Zero list so I have a deadline of 3 years!

A Clothkits retro cushion for Edward

An advent calendar for Edward

A gingerbread cross stich

A union flag quilt

Four projects to add to my existing list of projects (which is as long as my arm!). I’d better get started!

I like that Union Jack quilt, can you remember which stand you get it from? (Going to Ally Pally on Saturday.)

It’s lovely isn’t it?! I got it from a big stall in the Marketplace which sold lots of Tilda products. It’s at the end of the Marketplace underneath the organ so you can’t miss it!

[…] In 2010 I bought a Clothkits doll cushion, Advent calendar printed panel, gingerbread man cross stitch and Union flag quilt pattern. I made everything except the Union flag quilt as I couldn’t find the jelly roll I needed (I’m afraid I’m not the most adventurous quilter and need to follow instructions!). I wrote about it here.
