baby Cath Kidston reviews weaning

Our Host a Roast meal

Today we all sat down to our first Sunday roast since Edward was born. As mentioned yesterday our roast chicken was eaten with roast potatoes, roast parsnips and yorkshire puddings from Aunt Bessie’s range. This was one of the easiest (and tastiest!) meals I have prepared in a long time and allowed me plenty of time to tweet my progress using the hashtag #hostaroast if you follow me on twitter.  It was also really lovely to sit down in our dining room and not eat in front of the tv as we usually do.

We also took the opportunity to try some baby led weaning and Edward was given his own plate with some vegetables on.

As you can see he was more interested in his new Cath Kidston plate than the food on it!

Here’s a picture of my husband, happily eating his roast dinner! We forgot to take a picture of the chocolate roly poly pudding which was a little reminiscent of school dinners but was as delicious as our roast dinner. If you want to find out more about the Aunt Bessie’s range which includes main dishes, vegetables, potatoes, yorkshire puddings and puddings, take a look at their website.

Aunt Bessie’s are currently running a great competition to win an Ikea kitchen worth £8000! The prize includes worktops, cabinets, appliances and full installation and there are 45 styles to choose from so get entering! The competition is open until the 30th November.

Please note I was given some vouchers towards the cost of the Aunt Bessie products.
