No posting yesterday as we didn’t get back from the Amy Winehouse gig at Brixton until after midnight.She was absolutely brilliant, and only 45 minutes late.
Today we have been searching all over London for a replacement fret for our fireplace. No-one was willing to see us the bit we wanted so it looks like we’ll be buying a reproduction one on the internet. We popped into Marylebone and looked round a small market at the top of the high street where we picked up these lovely biscuits (almost all gone).
We also picked up some wallpaper samples from Farrow & Ball. Hopefully we will make some progress with the lounge before too long.
