eating out holidays

Home again

We’re back from a lovely week away. The cottage was perfect and if anyone is looking for a lovely cottage in a sleepy seaside town I would recommend Brook Cottage in Dawlish. The town was great, although I spent too much at Harrison’s Amusement arcade. We even found a good curry house called the Paradise Palace tucked away in a back street on our last night.

Yesterday we made good use of our National Trust membership and visited Greenway, the former home of Agatha Christie, and Coleton Fishacre. The we took the ferry into Dartmouth and hired a boat and messed about on the Dart for an hour.
