Christmas

Christmas at Paperchase

If you haven’t yet decided on a colour scheme for your Christmas decorations then you’re in luck. Over the summer I attended a couple of press previews and today I’m going to tell you a little about the products I saw at Paperchase. Next week I will be sharing some fun ideas I picked up at the Hobbycraft Christmas press show.

I’m aware that as the parent of young children my attempts to even have a colour theme have so far been thwarted. They bring home their gorgeous handmade decorations from nursery and school, they help put the decorations up and generally decorate as they wish. This year I am attempting to co-ordinate all our efforts to one lovely, homogenous style, but I have a feeling I’ll have to let you know how I get on!

I love stationery so get very excited about trips to Paperchase. I’ve been visiting the Tottenham Court Road store ever since I moved to London and love to see their Christmas range.

Press previews are quite exciting for a blogger like me. I plan my posts a couple of months in advance so I really appreciate the opportunity to see what’s going to be in the shops. Paperchase had some wonderful displays of their Christmas ranges including decorations, wrapping paper, cards, wreaths and other seasonal products. Yep, there were several ranges to appeal to all tastes and budgets.

Unsurprisingly I loved the Nordic Collection of soft greens, natural wood and animals. Isn’t that little hedgehog adorable!

The London Collection was quirky and colourful. I love the bright reds and the details, such as Brussel Square instead of Russel Square! I like the handmade feel of the decorations too, I’ve always wanted to stitch a red London bus decoration for my tree but know I’ll just buy one from Paperchase instead!

I found most of the themes appealing so I’m not really sure which I would choose if I had to. These large marquee lights would look stunning on a mantlepiece, in a large window or on a hall table.

It looks like wreaths will be popular this year too. Paperchase had neon wreaths, baubles, holly and ivy and mini Christmas jumpers on theirs. Anything goes!

I hope you enjoyed my little look at some of the products which will be around this year. They had a brilliant display of wrapping paper and I fell in love with London Lines which looks like a tube map but in the shape of trees. You can buy matching Christmas cards too but I’m not sure I’m organised enough to co-ordinate my Christmas cards and wrapping paper 🙂

I love Paperchase and I especially love their Christmas items. The London collection sounds and looks brilliant. The wreaths look cool too. I think I’ll be paying Paperchaae a visit very soon.

Oh I love Paperchase! I could always spend so much in there, especially at Christmas time. I love the reds of the London collection, and I do fancy having a bit of a theme this year so I’ll have to go and have a look xx
