Monday happy things

My favourite post of the week time – my Monday happy things!

We had a quiet weekend as the children were poorly but that meant we had time to make them a mud kitchen! I can’t decide whether to paint it or not but it just needs a few more items to finish it off.

I sent and received a mini quilt as part of a swap. Making mini quilts is one of my favourite things and it was fun to make something for someone else (rather than my daughter) for a change. As part of my swap package I received two lovely pieces of London-themed fabric. I nearly have enough to make a London quilt for my son – which is now added to my very long list of makes 🙂

My little boy has started swimming lessons and I love to see him so excited about them each week.

The weather has been beautiful so we’ve been spending lots of time outside. Little Sis and I have had fun creating indoors and outdoors and I’m trying not to think about her starting her new nursery in September. We have so much fun together so I’m just trying to enjoy every second we have together before school steals her away.

IMG_1429We’re excited about taking part in a home viewing party with  some other bloggers to mark the release of TinkerBell and the Neverbeast this afternoon. Disney sent us a box of goodies so we could take part. Follow the #tinkerbellneverbeast on social media and look out for a blog post later today.

We’re planning on making a mud kitchen too this year. Can’t wait to see how yours progresses.

It’s been loads of fun so far. We are planning a trip to Ikea at the weekend to purchase a few things for it.
